American Shakespeare Center on Tour
All's Well That Ends Well
Friday, January 15, 2010
Attucks Theatre, Norfolk
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Recommended grades 9-12
In its world of soldiers and clowns, countesses
and commoners, All's Well That Ends Well tricks us
into believing that lies are true and that truth is
fantasy – a dark fairy-tale filled with laughter,
miracles, and re-birth. By re-creating
Renaissance conditions of performance, the ASC
explores its repertory of plays for a better
understanding of these great works and of the
human theatrical enterprise past, present, and future.
