Full Participant: $48.00 per participant. Includes Sectional Workshop and Festival
Festival Participant: $38.00 per participant. Includes Steel Band Festival Only
Above rates are group rates and apply to participants attending with a Steel Band of 5 or more participants (excluding directors).
Individual Participant: $55.00 per participant.
Includes Workshop (Individual registration by phone only.)

Competition and Awards
All ensembles will receive a large trophy which will be presented at the stage following festival. A medal, if earned, with the appropriate rating, will be draped around the trophy. Each rating will represent the following.
Superior Rating: 100-91. . . . . . Gold Medal
Excellent Rating: 90-81 . . . . . Silver Medal
Good Rating: 80-70. . . . . . . Bronze Medal
Participation Rating: below 70 . . . . . No Medal
$1000 Grand Champion Award
$250 for winners of the following categories:

Workshops
Virginia Beach Convention Center, Meeting Suite 1
Friday, May 11: 10:00 AM–4:00 PM
Tom Miller (high pans), Maureen Clement (middle pans), and Dr. Lennard Moses (low pans) will present sectional workshops concurrently, followed by an interactive engine room clinic and mass steelband performance. These workshops are open to everyone with their own instruments and desire to learn, including bands participating in the festival.
